Sista of the Month

Meet Tiffany Parham - the July featured Science Sista of the month! Tiffany is from Murray, KY, and is a two-time graduate of the University of Kentucky. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Arts in Medical Anthropology. In her graduate studies, Tiffany focused on public health research, health education, and outreach for medically underserved in the rural communities of her home state of Kentucky. She is currently a Research Specialist with the Center for Health Disparities Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she works with the NIH-funded Neighborhood Study Alzheimer’s project.
Tiffany is dedicated to promoting transdisciplinary education, research, and increasing health equity in public health and medicine. This fall, she will begin the PharmD program at UW-Madison. Tiffany hopes to use her education to continue to serve underserved populations and participate in public health and health equity research.
