Meet Tori Farrow, a 2nd year Masters student in Biochemistry at Louisiana State University; and Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Toxicology at Southern University, and the November 2020 featured Science Sista of the Month! She is an HGBI scholarship recipient, which grants her a dual-full ride! Tori works in Dr. Alexandra Noel’s lab, where she conducts research focused on “the production and characterization of aerosols, composed of engineered nanoparticles, ultra-fine or fine particles, as well as inhalation and developmental toxicology." Tori made the Spring and Summer 2020 Deans list and was inducted into the 2020 class of Beta Kappa Chi, which is a scholastic honor society that recognizes academic achievement among students in the fields of natural science and mathematics.
