Meet Nadine Spring, MPH, MSCR, and the December featured Science Sista of the month! Nadine currently works at Autocruitment as the Director, Project Management, Client & Patient Recruitment Programs and is committed to eliminating health disparities and improving health equity by making clinical research studies available to all. Previously, Ms. Spring has held leadership positions at Morehouse School of Medicine, Emory University, and Hospital for Special Surgery. Ms. Spring is an active member of the Association for Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and serves on the Content Committee. Her most important and rewarding job is being Mom to her son Logan. Â
Nadine Spring was the first in her family to go to college, and she understands the challenges many minority women face when they enter STEM fields. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Bridgeport. In addition, she holds both a Master of Public Health and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. During her career, Ms. Spring has championed initiatives to increase awareness of clinical trials and to attract underrepresented minorities to careers in medicine, science, and research. In her spare time, Ms. Spring loves to spend time with her family, enjoy nature, and she is also an open-water SCUBA diver. Â Â
