Meet Jasmine Brock, DVM; the April featured Science Sista of the month! Dr. Brock was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but grew up in Douglasville, Georgia. As a child, her pets were considered part of her family and showed the importance of the human-animal bond. She attended the University of Kentucky, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Thereafter, attending Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she recently graduated this past spring.
Following graduation, she moved back to Georgia and joined the Animal Medical Clinic family at Fairburn. Her professional interests include proactive wellness care, internal medicine, and exotics. She has Zara, a bluetick coonhound, and Lovecraft, an all-black medium longhair cat. In her free time, she enjoys doing photography, writing, watching films, and traveling.
